APPOINTMENTS
Your First Appointment
Once you have booked an appointment with one of our psychologists, you will attend the practice at the scheduled time. Prior to your visit, you will receive an email with a link to complete your demographic details and a consent form. This only takes a few minutes and must be completed before your first appointment.

Appointments typically last 50–60 minutes, giving you and your therapist time to discuss your needs, explore your goals, and develop a flexible plan to support your progress. During this session, we will work collaboratively to clarify your priorities and outline the best approach for your therapy.

Appointment Fees
The out-of-pocket expense after the Medicare rebate is approximately $100 per session. Appointments are available on weekdays during school hours, with some telehealth options available outside of office hours. You can schedule an appointment without a GP referral.

Medicare and Private Health Funds
-
Medicare rebates are available for clients with a Mental Health Care Plan referral from a GP or psychiatrist.
-
Our psychologists are recognised Medicare providers and approved providers for major private health funds, including Medibank Private, NRMA, and BUPA.
-
If you are not eligible for Medicare rebates, you may still be eligible for a rebate under your private health fund’s extras cover. We recommend checking with your provider about your specific coverage.

Other Services
We also provide services through Medicare, MCRS, DVA, WorkCover, ComCare, and most insurance companies. In many cases, we can bill these organisations directly, meaning no out-of-pocket costs for the client. Approval from the referring organisation is required, so please discuss this with us before booking your first appointment.

Cancellation Policy
We understand that sometimes schedules change. Please note that cancellations made within 24 hours of your appointment will incur a fee of $100. This applies to all appointments, and Medicare rebates are not available for late cancellations. For clients referred through third-party organisations, late cancellations may also reduce the number of eligible consultations.
